The new rules will go into effect November 1, 2015. Rules include moving to the 2015 editions of the International Building Code® (IBC®), International Existing Building Code® (IEBC®), International Fire Code® (IFC®), International Fuel Gas Code® (IFGC®), International Mechanical Code® (IMC®), and International Plumbing Code® (IPC®); as well as moving from the 2011 to the 2014 edition of the National Electrical Code® (NEC®).
