#CapsHurt Communities National Call-In Days September 15 & 16
America is stronger when we have decent, affordable homes and stable communities. Yet, Congress has allowed low spending caps to deprive families and neighborhoods of the housing and community development investments they need to thrive.
Enterprise and other leaders of the #CapsHurt Communities campaign have organized National Call-In Days on September 15 and 16 to educate Members of Congress on just how devastating these cuts are to low-income children, families, seniors, and veterans in our communities.

#CapsHurt Communities National Call-In Days
September 15 and 16, 2015
9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. EST
Join organizations from across the country by calling your Senators and Representative(s) to deliver a simple, unified message: Tell Congress to (1) raise the spending caps and (2) fully fund affordable housing and community development programs.
Because of the tight spending caps–required by the Budget Control Act–funding for critical programs have been cut significantly in recent years. A glaring example is the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) program, which has been slashed by 50 percent since the spending caps have been in place and which the House and Senate proposed to deeply cut–and even essentially eliminate–in Fiscal Year 2016. For additional resources, check out Enterprise’s blog post on how you can help #SaveHOME.

Thank you for your advocacy.
