|NASHVILLE—During the National Council of State Housing Agencies’ annual meeting September 27, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Executive Director Dennis Shockley was re-elected to another two-year term to the NCSHA Board of Directors. He is the only Oklahoma executive director to have ever served on the Board.
Shockley will represent the needs of Oklahomans when the Board votes on key housing decisions. The Board meets at least three times a year.
“I am honored to continue to represent Oklahoma in this important policy-setting organization,” Shockley said.
NCSHA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization created by the nation’s state Housing Finance Agencies more than 40 years ago to coordinate and leverage their federal advocacy efforts for affordable housing. The organization represents its members in Washington, D.C. before Congress, the Administration, and the several federal agencies concerned with housing, including the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Agriculture Department, and the Treasury Department, and with other advocates for affordable housing.
