Portland Officials Pledge $30 Million to Address Housing and Homelessness “Emergency”

In response to the “housing emergency” announced by Mayor Charlie Hales of Portland, Oregon, city officials joined with Multnomah County leaders to announce a $30 million commitment to build affordable housing, protect renters and provide support services and shelter for homeless people.
