Act Now to Restore Funding For HOME!
The House and Senate Appropriations Committees are currently negotiating new Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 spending levels for every program, including HOME. HOME supporters must act now to have their voices heard.
Please continue to call your Representatives and Senators to deliver a clear, unified message. Tell them: "We need a budget that works for our communities. Please work to restore HOME funding to at least $1.06 billion, as requested in the President’s budget."
In addition, please share a copy of the HOME Coalition’s national sign on letter—signed by nearly 2,200 national, state, and local organizations from across the country—with your members of Congress. These organizations include for-profit and non-profit housing developers, community development organizations, state and local governments, homelessness organizations, health advocates, veterans groups, rural housing organizations, faith-based organizations, and others who are deeply concerned about the proposed cuts to the HOME program.
Thank you for your advocacy.
