At an event last week highlighting JPMorgan Chases’s work in Detroit, the bank announced the continuation of their Partnerships for Raising Opportunity Neighborhoods (PRO Neighborhoods). PRO Neighborhoods started in 2014 as a pilot program to support innovative strategies developed by local organizations to deliver economic resources and social services to vulnerable neighborhoods. The program is now launching a $125 million, five-year initiative to identify and support custom solutions for the unique challenges facing disadvantaged neighborhoods in U.S. cities.
