2016 Election Voter Information

An informed, engaged electorate is a powerful force. That’s why we have expanded our grassroots effort to ensure the voice of every business is heard at the State Capitol through our Chamber Action Network (CAN) program. This initiative provides a comprehensive toolkit of resources to easily stay engaged in what happens at the capitol while keeping focused on your own business.

We’re excited to provide this comprehensive publication summarizing the seven state questions that will appear on the November 8 ballot. Our 2016 Election Voter Information is a non-partisan resource that overviews each state question … and what both proponents and opponents have to say about them.

A breakdown of the 2016-2017 state budget and information about state legislative elections are also included. In addition, since what happens in the courtroom affects our economy, we’ve provided judicial ratings compiled by The Oklahoma Civil Justice Council.

There’s a lot riding on the outcome of the November election: All Oklahomans will have the opportunity to vote for a President, U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative. And more than 80% of incumbent state legislators have or will face challengers this election cycle, the highest percentage in recent memory.
