Oklahoma Proposed Affordable Housing Rules Updated; Hearing on March 6, 2017

The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency released draft two of proposed rule changes to the Affordable Housing Tax Credit (known as Low Income Housing Tax Credit), Oklahoma Housing Trust Fund and the National Housing Trust Fund.

The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing (OCAH) submitted written comments on February 15th. Some of our suggestions are incorporated in draft 2. However, Affordable Housing Tax Credit program key recommendations were not changed; definition of “elderly”, application fee for nonprofits and ownership/general partner transfer fees.

OHFA will conduct a formal hearing on Monday March 6, 2017 at the Holiday Inn, 6200 N. Robinson, right across street from OHFA’s offices. Click the following program title to access the most current draft of proposed rule changes.

9:00 a.m. National Housing Trust Fund – Chapter 75

10:30 a.m. Oklahoma Housing Trust Fund – Chapter 60

1:30 p.m. Affordable Housing Tax Credit Program – Chapter 36 Rules

If you cannot attend in person, please submit written comments to Pam Miller.
