LEGISLATIVE ALERT-OK STATE LIHTC IN DANGER

As you may be aware, the Oklahoma State Legislature convened a special session this morning. Of importance to many of our members, Senator Daniels of Bartlesville introduced Senate Bill 46x this morning. This bill sunsets the Oklahoma Affordable Housing Act. The language inserted says that to claim the state affordable housing tax credit, all developments must be placed in service by July 1, 2018. For most, if not all, of the 2017 Round 1 Tax Credit awardees, this will not be possible.

If this issue is of importance to you and your business, please reach out to Senator Daniels immediately and voice your opposition to this bill. Please also contact your State Senator and Representative and ask that they VOTE NO on Senate Bill 46x.
