Enterprise’s new report, Promoting Opportunity through Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (eTOD): Navigating Federal Transportation Policy, provides stakeholders involved in achieving eTOD with guidance on understanding and benefitting from federal transportation policies and programs. These policies and programs can have a significant impact on the creation of local eTOD, including providing funding and technical assistance that can support eTOD, and enabling affordable housing development on property with federal interest. This report can be particularly helpful for housing practitioners, who may be less familiar with these resources and how to access them. Tomorrow, Enterprise is hosting a webinar, Navigating Federal Transportation Policy to Promote eTOD, to provide guidance around understanding and benefiting from federal transportation policies, specifically focused on eTOD.
