Housing Credit Site Visits Present Opportunity to Thank Congress for Investing in the Credit

The Coalition encourages affordable housing stakeholders to invite members of Congress to tour Housing Credit properties and attend grand openings when they are home in the state or district this summer. Site visits are a powerful tool to show the benefits of affordable housing for residents and the community. Property tours also present an opportunity to thank Congress for preserving the Housing Credit and multifamily Housing Bonds during tax reform, as well as enacting provisions to strengthen and expand the Credit in the FY 2018 omnibus spending package.
