The Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2019 (AHCIA), introduced in both the Senate (S.1703) and the House (H.R.3077) on June 4, has continued to garner bipartisan support. The most recent Senate co-sponsors include Senators Tom Carper (D-DE), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Michael Bennet (D-CO), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). The Senate bill now has a total of 17 cosponsors, including eight Republicans, eight Democrats, and one Independent.
