PartnerTulsa, Housing Solutions, Family and Children Services, and the Terence Crutcher Foundation will be hosting a webinar to present the results of the housing provider survey that was conducted as part of the Just Home Project. The webinar will be Wednesday, August 3rd at 10 am.
Tulsa is participating in the MacArthur Foundation and Urban Institute’s Just Home Project, a national program designed to advance community-driven efforts to break the link between housing instability and jail incarceration. The Just Home Project partners are focused on a community-led planning process that includes multiple opportunities for engagement from housing providers, service providers, individuals with lived experience, and community members. As a first step in the community engagement process with housing providers, the Just Home Project shared a survey with housing providers asking about the barriers they experience providing housing to low-income renter households and renters with a history of criminal justice involvement.
This webinar will provide a summary of the Just Home Project and the community engagement process, present the results of the housing provider survey, and solicit the feedback of the housing provider community on the results.
