Election season is upon us. Are you ready to make your voice heard? The deadline to register to vote is Friday, Oct. 14 and applications must be received or postmarked by the deadline in order for voters to be eligible to participate in the Nov. 8 election. Take the time today to confirm your voter registration using the Oklahoma State Election Board’s online voter portal, where you can also find your polling place and request an absentee ballot.
Oklahomans who are already registered to vote can utilize the voter portal to update their registration information online, including updates to their residential address, mailing address and party affiliation. Voter registration applications are also available at your County Election Board, post offices, tag agencies, libraries and other public locations. The Nov. 8 ballot will include important elections at every level of government, including the governor. Voters living within the Oklahoma City Public Schools District will decide on a bond issue that will allow the district to provide students and teachers with the resources they need and deserve.
