COMMITTEES

The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing strives to be the best at what we do, but we need you, our members, to help us make this happen. Every year, members volunteer countless hours to form our primary events and programming, from legislative advocacy and conference planning to additional networking events. One of the best and most rewarding ways to enhance your membership experience is by joining a committee. Most of the committees meet quarterly via Zoom.

Government Affairs: This Committee shall be composed of 9 Voting Members and will concern itself with reacting to proposals, monitoring and advancing reforms, plus promulgating rules, regulations and statutes that advance the members' welfare and business conditions.

Grievance Committee: This Committee is delegated the authority to handle all complaints, expulsions and fines related to the membership.

Membership Development: This committee shall consider strategies, promotions and required budgets needed to enhance membership growth in the Coalition.

Oklahoma Housing Conference: The biennial Oklahoma Housing Conference Committee develops the programming for the conference and assists the Executive Director with the programming and overall experience and logistics of the conference.

Programs & Events: Delegated the authority to determine ongoing events for the organization, provide sponsorship opportunities as well as networking opportunities for members.
