For more than ten years, the Oklahoma Affordable Housing Act has generated measurable economic and community impact across the state. Based on allocations made between 2015 and 2024, developers and leasing companies supported by the program have contributed an estimated $1.38 billion in statewide economic activity, strengthening local economies while expanding access to safe, affordable housing.

While this Economic Impact Report focuses on quantifiable outcomes, its influence extends further—supporting long-term benefits such as improved educational stability, reduced health care and Medicare costs, and progress toward reducing homelessness.

The Economic Impact Report: A Decade of Impact (2014–2024) has a one-year shelf life and is actively used by the Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing as a key advocacy and education tool. The report is distributed directly to Oklahoma legislators, state agencies, and industry stakeholders as conversations continue ahead of the program’s upcoming review.
